International College, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University

Recently, the International College, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, led international exchange students for the academic year 2025 from Guangxi Normal University, Guizhou Minzu University, Guilin University of Aerospace and Technology, Guangxi Logistic Vocational and Technical College, and Honghe University (People’s Republic of China), together with students from Tenri University and Kyoto University of Education (Japan), to visit and learn at the Sufficiency Economy and New Theory Agriculture Learning Center, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Mae Rim Campus.

The activity aimed to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy and the New Theory Agriculture, which embody the vision and wisdom of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great as a foundation for sustainable development in Thailand.
During the visit, the students observed agricultural demonstration areas and studied water resource management, integrated farming, and livestock raising, all based on the principles of the New Theory Agriculture. They also learned about royal-initiated projects that Chiang Mai Rajabhat University has adopted as models for local and community development. In addition, the group visited a tiger park to study conservation-based tourism management, fostering cross-cultural learning and a deeper understanding of sustainable development
