CMRU International College Co-Hosted International Seminar on Modern Finance and Financial Inclusion in Southeast Asia
The International College, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) proudly served as a co-host of the international seminar titled “Modern Finance and Financial Inclusion in Southeast Asia: Universities United for the First Time” on 4 April 2026 at the 90th Anniversary Building, 15th Floor, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This academic event was organized through collaboration with several partners, including the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University (ICDI), Bitcoin Learning Center Chiang Mai, Gemini Blockchain, Orbix Digital Asset Exchange, Tether, BitToon, Right Shift, and BOB Space. The seminar brought together academics, industry experts, and practitioners to exchange perspectives on the future of financial systems, digital assets, and financial inclusion in Southeast Asia.
Participants explored key developments in the evolution of financial systems, from traditional finance to Bitcoin and emerging digital asset technologies. Major topics included digital payments, sound money, financial instability, Bitcoin, stablecoins, energy, and career opportunities within the digital asset ecosystem.
On this occasion, faculty members from CMRU International College were invited to serve as speakers at the seminar, including Mr. Janak Nandan Pandey and Mr. Harloi Tungao.
The seminar also featured interactive and hands-on learning activities, including the Age of Bitcoin Board Game and Lightning Market on the 15th Floor, as well as workshop sessions on the 6th Floor. These activities helped enhance participants’ understanding of the practical applications of financial technology and digital financial systems in real-world contexts.
This seminar reflected the importance of collaboration among educational institutions and partner organizations in creating a meaningful platform for dialogue and learning on finance, innovation, and financial inclusion in the region. The International College, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, remains committed to supporting international academic engagement and advancing knowledge in financial innovation.
วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานสัมมนานานาชาติ Modern Finance and Financial Inclusion in Southeast Asia: Universities United for the First Time เมื่อวันที่ 4 เมษายน 2569 ณ อาคาร 90th Anniversary Building ชั้น 15 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่
งานสัมมนาครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานพันธมิตรหลายภาคส่วน อาทิ วิทยาลัยนวัตกรรมดิจิทัล มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ (ICDI) และองค์กรด้านเทคโนโลยีการเงินและสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านระบบการเงินสมัยใหม่ สินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล และการเข้าถึงบริการทางการเงินในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
ภายในงาน คณาจารย์จากวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ได้รับเกียรติร่วมเป็นวิทยากร ได้แก่ อาจารย์ Janak Nandan Pandey และ อาจารย์ Harloi Tungao
นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรมเชิงโต้ตอบ เช่น Age of Bitcoin Board Game และ Lightning Market รวมถึงกิจกรรมเวิร์กช็อป ที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจด้านเทคโนโลยีการเงินและระบบสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลในเชิงปฏิบัติ
การจัดงานครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและภาคอุตสาหกรรมในการสร้างพื้นที่แห่งการเรียนรู้และพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางการเงิน วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ข้ามสาขาและการมีส่วนร่วมในเวทีวิชาการระดับนานาชาติอย่างต่อเนื่อง
