The International College of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Suttinan Chuenchom, Dean of the International College, along with faculty members and staff, paid their respects and offered well wishes to Associate Professor Dr. Chatri Maneekosol, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, for the recent Songkran festival. The traditional “Rod Nam Dum Hua” ceremony took place on April 25, 2025.
The event provided an opportunity for the International College community to express their reverence and seek blessings from the University President during this significant Thai New Year tradition. The “Rod Nam Dum Hua” ceremony involves the gentle pouring of scented water over the hands of elders and respected individuals as a gesture of respect and a request for blessings for the year ahead.

การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสอันดีที่บุคลากรของวิทยาลัยนานาชาติได้แสดงความเคารพและขอพรจากอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัย เนื่องในประเพณีปีใหม่ไทยอันเป็นมงคล พิธีรดน้ำดำหัวเป็นการแสดงความเคารพต่อผู้อาวุโสและบุคคลที่เคารพนับถือ โดยการรดน้ำหอมลงบนมือเบาๆ พร้อมทั้งขอพรเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลตลอดปี
