On April 11, 2025, the International College, in collaboration with the Arts and Cultural Institute at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, welcomed exchange students from Guangxi Normal University and Guizhou Minzu University to participate in the “Wan Da” activity (Pre-Songkran). The event was held in preparation for the ritual offerings and tributes commemorating the 729th anniversary of King Mangrai and the founding of Chiang Mai City, taking place at the Chiang Mai City Arts and Cultural Center.
During the event, students had the opportunity to explore Lanna culture through hands-on activities with local masters, such as making khanom pad (traditional sweets) and crafting tung (Lanna-style ceremonial flags). The event also featured a traditional kad mua (Lanna-style local market) offering regional food and beverages.
เมื่อวันที่ 11 เมษายน 2568 วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ร่วมกับสำนักศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ได้นำนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจาก Guangxi Normal University และ Guizhou Minzu University เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม “วันดา” เพื่อเตรียมเครื่องบวงสรวงและเครื่องสักการะ สำหรับพิธียอสวยไหว้สา เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 729 ปี การสถาปนาเมืองเชียงใหม่และการรำลึกถึงพระญามังราย ณ หอประวัติศาสตร์เมืองเชียงใหม่
ภายในงาน นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้และสัมผัสวัฒนธรรมล้านนาอย่างใกล้ชิด ผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติร่วมกับพ่อครูแม่ครูภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น อาทิ การทำขนมปาด การตัดตุง และกิจกรรมอื่น ๆ อีกมากมาย นอกจากนี้ยังมีกาดหมั้วให้ผู้ร่วมงานได้ลิ้มลองอาหารและเครื่องดื่มล้านนา ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่อบอวลไปด้วยกลิ่นอายของวัฒนธรรมและความอบอุ่นเป็นกันเอง
