On April 2, 2025, a group of exchange students from Guilin University of Aerospace and Technology participated in a Thai cultural exchange activity. On this day, they had the opportunity to learn and practice making “Tung,” which are traditional decorative flags of significant cultural importance in the northern region of Thailand.
The activity was organized to allow international students to experience and deeply understand Thai local arts and traditions. Making Tung provided the students with the chance to learn about the patterns, meanings, and traditional steps involved in creating Tung, which reflect the wisdom and unique identity of the Lanna people.
The international students showed great interest and enjoyment in learning how to make Tung. They expressed their admiration for the beauty and intricacy of Thai craftsmanship and also exchanged views with the instructors and other participants about the cultural differences and similarities between Thailand and China.
This activity is part of a student exchange program aimed at promoting mutual understanding and international relations through cultural exchange. Directly learning and participating in cultural activities like this provides international students with valuable experiences and creates fond memories of Thailand.
นักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจาก Guilin University of Aerospace and Technology เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมไทยผ่านการทำ “ตุง”
เมื่อวันที่ 2 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2568 คณะนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจากมหาวิทยาลัย Guilin University of Aerospace and Technology ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมไทย โดยในวันนี้ พวกเขาได้มีโอกาสเรียนรู้และลงมือปฏิบัติในการทำ “ตุง” ซึ่งเป็นธงพื้นเมืองที่มีความสำคัญทางวัฒนธรรมในภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติได้สัมผัสและเข้าใจถึงศิลปะและประเพณีท้องถิ่นของไทยอย่างลึกซึ้ง การทำตุงเป็นกิจกรรมที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับลวดลาย ความหมาย และขั้นตอนการทำตุงแบบดั้งเดิม ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงภูมิปัญญาและเอกลักษณ์ของชาวล้านนา
นักศึกษาต่างชาติให้ความสนใจและสนุกสนานกับการเรียนรู้การทำตุงเป็นอย่างมาก พวกเขาได้แสดงความชื่นชมในความสวยงามและความประณีตของงานฝีมือไทย และยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับวิทยากรและผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมคนอื่นๆ เกี่ยวกับความแตกต่างและความคล้ายคลึงทางวัฒนธรรมระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศจีน
กิจกรรมนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาที่มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมความเข้าใจอันดีและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศผ่านการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรม การได้เรียนรู้และมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมโดยตรงเช่นนี้ ช่วยให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติได้รับประสบการณ์ที่มีค่าและสร้างความทรงจำที่ดีเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทย
