International College of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) recently organized an educational field trip for students enrolled in the course “English for Travel, Tourism, and Transport Business.” (8 November, 2025)
The course focuses on teaching students about the tourism industry, various travel routes, and essential information for describing key landmarks, as well as different modes of transportation in Thailand.
This semester, the curriculum includes a focus on rail transport (trains). To provide students with direct, real-world experience, the course instructor arranged for an off-campus study opportunity. This outing allowed students to learn directly from experts in the rail transport sector.
The knowledge and practical insights gained from this field trip will be directly applied by the students in their upcoming presentation examination on the topic.
