Recently, the International College of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMURU) led a group of exchange students from Honghe University, People’s Republic of China, on a visit to the New Theory Agriculture project based on Royal Initiatives and other Royal Projects within the university.
The purpose of this visit was to provide the exchange students with an understanding of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the application of New Theory Agriculture in Thailand. This sustainable development approach originated from the profound vision of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX).
The students had the opportunity to tour agricultural demonstration areas, observe water resource management, integrated farming practices, and animal husbandry, all of which are integral parts of the New Theory Agriculture concept. They also learned about other Royal Initiative Projects that Chiang Mai Rajabhat University has adopted as guidelines for local and community development.
This activity not only enhanced the students’ academic knowledge but also served as an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange and to foster good relations between the two educational institutions from Thailand and the People’s Republic of China.
เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ (มรภ.เชียงใหม่) ได้นำคณะนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจากมหาวิทยาลัยหงเหอ สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เข้าเยี่ยมชมโครงการเกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ตามแนวพระราชดำริ และโครงการในพระราชดำริอื่นๆ ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย
การเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้นักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนได้เรียนรู้และเข้าใจถึงหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง และการประยุกต์ใช้เกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นแนวทางการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนอันเกิดจากพระปรีชาสามารถของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร (รัชกาลที่ 9)
นักศึกษาได้มีโอกาสเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่สาธิตทางการเกษตร ศึกษาการจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำ การปลูกพืชแบบผสมผสาน และการเลี้ยงสัตว์ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการดำเนินงานตามแนวคิดเกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ นอกจากนี้ยังได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับโครงการในพระราชดำริอื่นๆ ที่มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ได้น้อมนำมาเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นและชุมชน
กิจกรรมนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เสริมสร้างความรู้ทางวิชาการให้แก่นักศึกษา แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมและสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างสองสถาบันการศึกษาจากประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน
