International College of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (IC-CMRU), led by its administrators, faculty members, and staff, brought a vibrant group of international students to participate in the “Chiang Mai Games” for the 2025 academic year. Held from February 5–6, 2026, at the Vieng Bua campus, the project aimed to provide international students from the Northern Rajabhat University network a platform to exchange cultural insights and build lasting friendships through fun and engaging activities.
The event kicked off on February 5, 2026, as the International College team, alongside the International Relations Office, welcomed over 370 international students and executives from Uttaradit, Lampang, and Chiang Rai Rajabhat Universities. The welcome reception at the 90th Anniversary Building featured impressive Thai cultural performances by student representatives from all four institutions, showcasing the strong bonds and cultural appreciation shared among the international community in Northern Thailand.
On February 6, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatree Maneekosol, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, officially presided over the opening ceremony of the friendly sports competition at the gymnasium. IC-CMRU students enthusiastically participated in various fun activities designed to promote teamwork and joy, such as ping-pong spoon races, basketball shooting, sack races, tug-of-war, land rowing, and hula-hoop challenges. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and spirit, allowing students to forge new friendships while staying active. This initiative serves as a vital mechanism for developing global social skills among students. The next “Chiang Mai Games” is scheduled to be hosted by Lampang Rajabhat University.
วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ นำคณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนักศึกษาต่างชาติ เข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมและกีฬาสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ “Chiang Mai Games” ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 5 – 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ พื้นที่เวียงบัว เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติในเครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภาคเหนือตอนบน ได้มีโอกาสพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้วิถีวัฒนธรรมและสร้างความสามัคคีผ่านกิจกรรมสนุกสนาน
เริ่มต้นกิจกรรมเมื่อวันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 คณะผู้บริหารและบุคลากรวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ร่วมกับสำนักงานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารและนักศึกษาต่างชาติกว่า 370 คน จากมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุตรดิตถ์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏลำปาง และมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงราย ในงานเลี้ยงต้อนรับ ณ ลานกิจกรรม อาคาร 90 ปี ราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ โดยภายในงานมีการแสดงความสามารถทางด้านวัฒนธรรมไทยจากตัวแทนนักศึกษาทั้ง 4 สถาบัน ซึ่งสร้างความประทับใจและแสดงถึงความแน่นแฟ้นของเครือข่ายนักศึกษาต่างชาติในภาคเหนือ
ต่อมาในวันที่ 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชาตรี มณีโกศล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันกีฬาเชื่อมสัมพันธ์ ณ โรงยิมเนเซียม โดยนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมสนุกสนานที่เน้นการสร้างรอยยิ้มและการทำงานเป็นทีม อาทิ วิ่งเปี้ยวคีบลูกปิงปอง ชูตบาสลงห่วง วิ่งผลัดกระสอบ ชักคะเย่อ เรือบก และลอดห่วงฮูลาฮูป ซึ่งบรรยากาศเป็นไปด้วยความชื่นมื่น นักศึกษาได้สร้างมิตรภาพใหม่ ๆ และมีสุขภาพพลานามัยที่แข็งแรง ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวถือเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการพัฒนานักศึกษาให้มีทักษะทางสังคมในระดับสากล โดยการแข่งขันครั้งต่อไปมีกำหนดจัดขึ้น ณ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏลำปาง
